The intervention involved the recovery of a disused industrial area with the construction of the Ikea store in Camerano.

A hydrogeological constraint dictated the solution of building on pilotis, developed on three levels of which on the ground floor a covered parking lot was created for customers and which, together with the outdoor area, ensures sufficient equipment for this type of structure.

Also on the ground floor, on the main front, are the entrance lifts to the store which is spread over the further two levels. Particular attention was paid to the arrangement and strengthening of the viability of the entire context with the construction of a carriage railway underpass and a system of roundabouts.

From an architectural and communication point of view, particular attention was paid to the image that characterizes the Ikea brand.
