The project involves the redevelopment of Piazza del Crocefisso in the Archi district of Ancona, with the aim of reorganizing the aggregative spaces facing the church of the same name.

The proposal is based on the definition of a stone ground design that incorporates the distinctive features of the church façade, with materials (Istrian stone and Pianello stone) that offer a geometric design characterized by five different colors. The lighting of the square is guaranteed by recessed floor lights, of circular shape, powered by LED light sources and positioned consistently with the geometry of the design.

The large central flowerbed, designed to preserve the pre-existing trees, becomes the characterizing element of the space and offers continuous seating to the users of the square.
