The intervention is inherent to the Reorganization and Strengthening Plan of the hospital network for COVID emergency.

In order to minimize and reduce the spread and viral circulation, it is essential to rethink and redefine the spaces, the organizational and care processes, the articulation of the various health activities and the general measures in order to guarantee health services in safety as well as implementation. of ICU beds and related services.

Of primary importance is the identification of suitable flows to reduce promiscuity and separate clean paths from dirty ones. Adaptation of health facilities for the enhancement of intensive areas in accordance with the principles of Article 2 of Legislative Decree 34/2020; in addition to the upgrading of air treatment systems, electrical / special systems, water systems and medical gases.

The health facilities affected by the intervention are located in the territories of Marche, Lombardy and Piedmont.
