The object of the competition was the design proposal for a residential building conventioned, multi-storey, with a consistency of 12,500 m2 of SLP, as well as a commercial function of 1,100 m2 of SLP on the ground floor and a net parking area of ​​at least 5,083.33 m2 (of which 4,533.33 m2 pertaining to and 550 m2 standard) in the basement floors (in a maximum number of 2) (in compliance with the applicable legislation), to be carried out as part of the real estate compendium "former Falk areas and railway station". Sesto San Giovanni represented the capital of the first industrialization and economic boom that allowed Italy to recover economically at the end of the Second World War. The steelworks and Ferriere Lombarde Falck are still today, the symbol of the great laboratory of industrial and social innovation that was Sesto San Giovanni. The proposed project respects the indication of masterplan provided in the announcement, foreseeing the realization of three large residential volumes articulated on seven levels and resting on a common plate with a ground level for commercial use. Four types of apartments have been designed with different sizes ranging from 60 square meters to 100 square meters. Two underground levels have also been prepared for the construction of cellars and parking spaces connected to the house.
