In 2007 the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts held an invitation-only competition for the location and construction of the new Ancona headquarters. The proposed project area is located in the immediate outskirts of the city in an area well connected to the center and to the SS 16.

The project involves the construction of a building structured according to the requirements of the institution with offices, conference room, spaces for exhibitions and various events, as well as services, bars and garage.
