The project area is located in the center of the city, in front of the Orthodox Cathedral and is currently occupied by a series of crumbling structures. Local authorities have launched a recovery plan which includes the demolition of the existing structures and the construction of a new buildings that can accommodate residential uses, business and commercial activities. The project aims to be innovative and modern while respecting the local architectural and social tradition.
